The emotional nature is a different task for each person and for the society as a whole. The affective sphere is an inner dimension that strongly influences the life of man.
"The only way to experience happiness is to feel it".
We can not conceive a life without feelings, and much less desire it; in them is the beginning and end of ourbehavior, our actions. Love propels the approach, the escape fear, the anger, revenge. The joy encouragesacting, to overcome obstacles.
Over the centuries man has been taken as a spiritual nature, by contrast anthropology has not dedicated attention to the feelings and even less to heart, even if it is a reality in our lives. As noted: "The misleading impression that the feelings are a dark and mysterious reality, has caused throughout the historyof thought considerable disinterest further on them".
Aristotle said the intellect and the willingness belong to the rational dimension of man, while the emotions, feelings, and with them the heart belong to the irrational sphere, to the area of experience that man shares withanimals. In Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics, says: "A good man not only wants the good but also is glad to do good ".
My attitude is optimistic, the affectivity is susceptible of education; moreover it needs to be educated to form an harmonious whole with reason and willingness. We can not conceive a person without emotions, without feelings, attempting to suffocate the emotional life would go against his most intimate sphere. Affective is a little known dimension but is one of the dimensions that reflects the person's inner world, his interests and motivations
