This semester I have decided to say goodbye to the blog with a few entries about the feelings and moods. The reason for this decision is because this summer I read a book about them and it was interesting to me and it inspired me to write, for what I relied on many of the arguments presented the book. The book is called Los sentimientos y la vida afectiva a través del cine and I recommend it to all those who find it funny this topic to read it because it is very entertaining. I hope you enjoyed it. Farewell!

How we translate the feelings of fear?
The language of afraid is reflected by Pittam and Gallois, those who examine the terms related to fear, as worry, fear and shock.
When afraid is strong, the man wants to get out of it but he is not able to find a solution. Despair is in many cases the result of afraid. When trouble is near, we fall into an bottomless pit that holds few opportunities to get out. This would justify that fears are translated into blockage, anxiety, tremor .... The solution is to address this concern, leading to reduce it, we must control our minds, hold our thoughts and focus on the cause that produces it to stand up.
We know that love and fear are two basic mental states. However, fear is very basic but it does not stop being a mess of love. Fear becomes a source of negative emotions, and it is hidden behind the vices. It is necessary for our growth as people to admit that we are afraid for some reason and identify the cause that produces it.
How to arise the feelings of fear?
According to Burgos fear occurs when there is something or someone that can hurt me in any way that I do not control and this situation gives me a feeling of afraid. Appears before the unknown and prepares to flee or escape.
Most common fears: to criticism and to failure, to the future to the abandonment, to sickness, to the unknown, to lose what we have (money, work and family among others).
The fear comes to provoke thoughts that are only in our imagination they make us lose confidence and security in our behavior, they alter our reactions and it can paralyze us. Facing our afraid it is the only way that it goes away.
What is fear? How to identify the feelings of fear.
The fear is related to the trends of the individual before an object or situation we perceive as threatening attacking us directly or indirectly, preventing us from being owners of our actions. According to Aquinas the fear is a passion born of love and is opposed to hope.
Yepes and Aranguren (2001) consider that our inclinations or impulses to set aside or overcome obstacles can be positive or negative. When they face with an unavoidable evil is called fear (shutdown) when it is avoidable could talk about boldness (courage).
The afraid is exaggerated fear; the recklessnessis the opposite, it is not afraid. The lack of fear leads to recklessness which may lead us to the precipice.
Did we connect our feelings with our will and intellect?
Our psyche is manifested in three aspects: emotional life, intellectual life and volitional life.
Today's culture puts the spotlight on feelings, disconnecting them of intellect and will. It is also true that we live continually with our feelings and emotions, so it would be wrong to leave them outside, but turning them into the guidance of our conduct would also be a mistake.
We need to integrate our feelings in our persons along with the reason and will. In this consists the maturity on integrating and matching intelligence,, will and feelings in our actions and our relationships.
Mysteries of the affective world: feelings, emotions, passions and moods.
Our emotional world contains all kinds of trends that occur in our inner affections, feelings, emotions and passions. We experience emotions as something deep, personal and intimate. Feelings and emotions can be used as synonyms because they are related. In the emotion, we find specific and transient reactions, whereas in the primitive feeling we have a more stable attitude.

It is true that feelings, govern our personal lives, in spite of the reason. Those feelings and situations we live every day have to go hand in hand. When things affect us so as scarce as disproportionate we must deepen the strong wind, in order to remedy the fear.
According to Kövecses and Fussell the feelings must be expressed in such a way that is perfectly understandable. It is of utmost importance so that smooth interpersonal relationships are given verbal communication, facial expressions postures gestures, tones of voice among others.
Feelings are an open door to an appreciation of what surrounds us creating and dispensing our conduct and behavior. It is important to to put it at the service of the intelligence to avoid giving an excessive assessment, falling into sentimentality it stops responding to our will. It should be occasionally ironic and laugh about our feelings, not to run into loves and fears unfounded.
Peculiarities of wrath
Wrath is one of the most common negative emotions in our society and it is very easy to detect due to their unique body and facial gestures.
Wrath or cholera is a inside disease it is an imbalance of behavior, a sudden violent type reaction, which feeds the vengeance and anger taken to the extreme. It is an emotion, it is a primitive feeling according to which we react before dangerous situations, as we see ourselves attacked. Wrath becomes a mechanism for self defense and armor, for fear of being hurt it is constantly on the defensive and is typical of people with great insecurity index.
According to Rafael Bisquerra "Wrath is generated when we have the feeling of having been wronged. It is a reaction of anger or rage triggered by the indignation and anger of feeling violated our rights. "
Aristotle speaks of anger as a boost accompanied with pain, a contempt that infer ourselves or someone close. St. Thomas noted that anger is a movement that encourages revenge of received injuries.
Wrath is a source of many evil things, both fathered by it as derived from it. Wrath arises because of some inferred sadness and desire of hope for revenge. the wrath that lasts a long time causes hatred. Willingness can exert a certain influence on wrath, separating it from its domain.
The experience of sadness and its meaning
The emotional state of sadness is experienced as painful, as a common psychological distress in the lives of men. St. Thomas Aquinas was the pioneer in studying the equivalent of extreme sadness he called "Acedia". A person who experience heartburn anything catches his eye, getting worse his state of sadness. In today's culture, suffering is rejected and interpreted as not pleasant hence it lacks any sense.
The new god for much of the twenty-first century man is ruthless consumerism which is projected to rapidly meet the desires with the least effort. The widespread pessimism in man and modern society can be caused by materialism it is worth more to have than to be, the desire of man are endless so any good material can satisfy him.
The person's cognitive abilities are diminished, so that the person is lazy and warm. He feels all around him as meaningless and empty. The sad person is depressed, no longer contribute to their social environment, the most valuable thing that he has: his humanity.

The duty to smile and to transmit joy
The smile of children is one of the great and wonderful mysteries. It shows much more than just a way to acknowledge the presence of another. It is the most convincing evidence that human beings need to give and receive love.
The joy of being a personal attitude comes from within man, it emerges from within our soul, from where there is a peace that affects our whole being. Thanks to this peace it is easier to be aware of others, to work with joy and greater efficiency. The joy comes from external reasons: having good friends or a great family, or the chance for a better job. But the important thing is to know that happiness is not always available but basically it is built.
The terms associated with life are common in all cultures, they are modulated differently depending on cultural context, it is common to laugh openly in the Mediterranean or warmer cultures, and instead in arid cultures the laugh is more discreet.
The voice during the speech is a key to determining a person's emotional state. With joy, the tone, the timbre and the intensity of the voice changes, there is a monotone speech, but harmonious.
The joy biased and provides contact and communication, it relieves bad mood, it cures and heals the wounds, it helps to see problems from another perspective, and to discover new hope to those who had lost them. Joy promotes group solidarity and increase social cohesion.
Let's remember a poem by Miguel Hernandez, who evokes the sadness and joy.
Sonreír con la alegre tristeza del olivo,
Esperar, no cansarse de esperar la alegría.
Sonriamos, doremos la luz de cada día
En esta alegre y triste vanidad del ser vivo.

The need for the happiness in the heart
Happiness is a delight of spirit, and the deepest and largest source of this feeling is love.

We also encourage the happiness in daily work, in the attention to our family, We can thank have friends and live in harmony with society.
The world is happier when we have joy, service and delivery to other people. You can find in literature and movies samples of true love, joy, peace, patience, kindness... But today it is observed that the mass media tend to emphasize the bad news and less often the good news.
Ultimately, have a positive attitude towards life, who does not hide troubles but it sees them as a challenge to overcome. We are facing a feeling that positively affects the human body.
Hope is a way of life
As people we seek perfection and we sense that reality is always brimming what we know about it. These insights have advantage, they open the way of dreams and hope. When you live this way of hope you can say as Nietzsche did that "We are approaching to the kingdom of heaven, which is like"a state of heart". Benedict XVI, has written an encyclical, which is about hope, not focused only as a virtue, but also explicit human passion, the longing of horizons that requires the man to walk the path of life. The Pope describes the future of a man of faith, of a Christian, with a strength and a poetry which stimulate the imagination and intelligence. According you growing in personal maturity, each person discovers that, along with points of light, the personal life has very different elements, often dark, other times too gray or surprisingly stormy. Somehow, we want the daily life, life itself, was more real and it can be more fully and not be affected because of what is contrary. Among the paradoxes that overwhelm us and affect us is especially death.
Hope, my soulmate.

In youth, the love hope may be great and satisfying, but at first maturity it is fully personal satisfaction. However, when these hopes are fulfilled, we find that they do not full us so much. The cause of this disappointment is "The nostalgia of the begining" and gives us a glimpse that we exist, with or without faith, to be fully and this is not achieved once and for all.
Hit the mark
"Hope is not an act of freedom but a way of being, " says Schütz."Hope is like love, one of the most primitive and basic attitudes of the creature" says J Piepper. In both cases it appears that "hope is the human attitude to an asset that has not yet, but hopes to achieve. "
All human hope, may split in two parameters:
- The first: The right that is expected.
- The second: The guarantee or substance that we have to believe that someday we will get it.
The desperation destroys the person because it doesn´t let him develop because of the fear of moving forward. The nineteenth century fostered the presumption for worshiper man of progress. However, in the twentieth century this progressive attitude, full of optimismis quickly frustrated. The sign of our times will be pessimistic skepticism.
The lack of hope expressed hopelessness or desperation. Both words are semantically identical but the usage has been giving them different meanings.
The desperation is the result of a situation that seems to have output and produces aggression. The hopelessness is reached by an accumulation of disappointments and it is translated into a resigned acceptance of the situation.

What is friendship?

Is the love less natural, less instinctive, less organic and less biological. It is the world bright and calm, rational, freely chosen relationships. It is the least jealous of loves. The fellowship is the matrix of friendship. The lovers look to their faces, and the friends are beside the other facing forward.Men who have true friends are less vulnerable and less manageable. Friendship is the instrument through which God reveals to each other's beauty.
Socrates said: "Friendship is the center of my life". "The pleasure of watching the men and things thoroughly are close to happiness". According to Aristotle: "The friendship, as well as something beautiful, is the most necessary thing in life. "
